Honda new type ofl Plug Seal

When first found out this type of plug seal, is from Honda Insight model which is hybrid model, and it is from engine of L13 and L15 series of engine, so initially I thought it may be a special design of plug seal mean for this hybrid engine.

Later on, we found that from a different rocker cover, it is from a Honda Accord CR3 with K24Z series of engine, also having the same plug seal, but of course the different rocker cover gasket.

I'm starting wondering if Honda will using this type of plug seal for their up-coming model on different type of rocker cover.

Isuzu 6UZ1 Overhaul Gasket Kit

KP is more on producing the passenger vehicle of gasket, the largest CC model can be found in their catalogue most probably is the Isuzu 4HF1 model.

And for Malaysia market, the Isuzu truck is starting to change from 4H series to 6H series of engine like 6HH1 or 6HK1, which is not under the KP product range.

And from the Japanese Motor Vehicle Guidebook, found out there are one Isuzu engine model call 6UZ1 which install in Isuzu Giga, and not sure if this engine is exist in Malaysia Isuzu truck.

So just searching for the gasket online to see how it is looks like out of my curiosity, and sharing the photo for your viewing.

Nissan Skyline RB26DETT Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Nissan Skyline RB26DETT engine exhaust manifold gasket, under the Nissan genuine parts is using the graphite material, but for those racing performance modification, normally it will change to metal type of gasket for a better performance.

This is same scenario apply to Nissan RB25DET engine, but it seem for RB25DET the graphite genuine parts is still acceptable for most user.

Chevrolet Corolado 2.8 Gasket

Another sharing of a non Japan model gasket, this post we take a look at the Chevrolet Corolado 2.8 Cylinder Head Gasket and its Rocker Cover Gasket.

A piece of genuine cylinder head gasket had bought from the dealer, and found the gasket label have the made in China wording on it, wonder if this model is fully develop in China with the General Motor joint venture.

The rocker cover gasket indeed have a very unique design together with its plug seal.

Bison Savana 2.8 Overhaul Gasket Kit

This post we wish to introduce another non KP product gasket, in Malaysia we found that there are quite some number of Bison Savana 4X4 truck, which it is consider a China made truck.

So out of curiosity, we go and check what engine is use on this truck, beside the front door of the truck, we found a plate with word of "Cummins 2.8" is stick on it, so it should be very clearly it is a Cummins model engine.

But when one of the customer took a cylinder head gasket sample for us to check it out, it seem it is not those normal Cummins model, we may consider it is a China Cummins, and when we search it out, it is an engine from a China company call Foton, which they have some cooperation with Cummins.

From the gasket photo, how you feel the design of this engine?

Nissan RB25DET, Suzuki M15A and Subaru EJ20 MLS Head Gasket

KP is mainly supply the OEM specification gasket, which mean if the OEM gasket material is graphite, they will supply the graphite type.

But on and off we have some customer checking with us if we have the custom made racing performance gasket, so we decided to outsource some item to meet some of our customer requirement.

The first photo is Nissan RB25DET cylinder head gasket, which the OEM gasket is graphite type, for this metal cylinder head gasket, we currently stock some with 1.50mm thickness type of gasket, although we know the market may have variance of thickness like 1.20mm, 1.60mm and 1.80mm, we decided to get the 1.50mm thickness for a start.

The above photo is Suzuki M15A cylinder head gasket which the OEM material is already using metal type of gasket, but OEM type of thickness is about 0.4mm, and we get some 1.70mm thickness gasket for those who want to modified their Suzuki Swift with high power turbocharger.

And the last one we keep in stock is the Subaru EJ20 type of metal head gasket with 1.50mm.

Volkswagen Polo 1.2 Cylinder Head Gasket

It had been quite some time didn't do blogging, let's begin with another sharing of non Japanese model gasket, a 3 cylinder Volkswagen Polo 1.2 head gasket.

It is seem only recent years that the continental model is starting to develop more 3 cylinder engine, and I found the local Volkswagen Polo 1.2 model may have this engine install on it.

The engine code of AZQ, BME, BZG, CGPA, CGPB and CLJA is an 2001~ engine, which also use in Skoda Fabia  and Roomster 1.2.
