Toyota Altezza SXE10 Gasket

Toyota Altezza SXE10, with the engine code of 3S-GE, seems have a quite different design from other 3S series of engine, the rocker cover gasket and the plug seal can't be found similar from other 3S type of engine, even their cylinder head gasket, have an extra hole that make them can't use the other type of 3S cylinder head gasket to interchange into it.

Nissan QR20DD Engine Gasket

In Malaysia market most QR20 engine is in the variant of QR20DE, which can be found in X-Trail and Serena C24 model, there are also QR20DD engine in Nissan which is mostly found in Primera model.

Basically QR20DE and QR20DD are in the same family of engine, most of the gasket parts are interchangeable between this 2 model, like their cylinder head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket and valve seal, the rocker cover gasket is slightly different between this 2 model, and most obvious changes is the intake manifold gasket, where the green color o-ring in the below photo catch my attention.

New Proton Perdana Launch

The all new Proton Perdana finally launch today, I don't know should we have a label "Honda inside" stick to it, just like "Intel inside" in our laptops, but when you go to their official website, www.protonperdana.com which you find something missing in their photo gallery, it seem they shy to show the engine bay for our view.

Further review can be seen on this link http://paultan.org/2016/06/14/new-proton-perdana-launched/

Mazda 2 1.6 Diesel Engine Gasket

Earlier on, we put some photo on Mazda 6 2.2 Diesel Engine Gasket, which is mostly for US and Euro market, as locally in Malaysia market passenger car still mostly stretch on petrol engine.

Recently also found this Mazda 2 & 3 1.6 Diesel Engine Gasket during surfing for info, it is curious that when all this diesel engine model will be entering to Malaysia as most of the petrol station in Malaysia is already start to offer Euro 5 diesel.

Subaru Vivio, Sambar Cylinder Head Gasket

When we talk about Subaru engine, normally we think that they are famous in the boxer type of engine, from EA series to EJ series and now the FA20 and FB20 type of boxer engine.

In Malaysia, the Subaru E10 van is the non boxer type of engine with inline 3 cylinder type of engine, and for 4 cylinder type, which come under EN07 or EN07C engine, is rarely seen in Malaysia market, the mini car of Subaru Vivio and mini truck of Subaru Sambar, may be have a better chance to find it in Singapore.
