Suzuki Aerio Engine
The Suzuki Aerio (called the Liana in Europe, South Asia and Australia) is a compact car that was built by Suzuki Motor Corporation. It was introduced in 2001 as a replacement for the Suzuki Esteem/Baleno, with a tall 5-door hatchback (for maximum inner room efficiency) and a 4-door sedan body. It featured two different 16-valve gasoline straight-4 engines, with 1.5L and 1.8L, this one capable of 125PS (92kW; 123hp) JIS. Models in North America got a bigger and more powerful 2.0L engine with 145 hp. A 5-speed manual transmission was standard with a 4-speed automatic optional. All-wheel-drive was available, but only with the automatic.
American Aerios came in two trim levels: the S and GS (2002-2004), S and LX (2005), and Base and Premium (2006-2007). Key changes over the years included an upgrade to a new 2.3-liter 155horsepower (116kW) engine in 2004, a major styling and interior refresh in 2005 (replacing the strange digital instruments with conventional analog ones), and the standardization of antilock brakes in 2006. Only the Aerio sedan remained for 2007, as the hatchback had been shelved to make room for the new 2007 SX4 hatchback. Likewise, the Aerio sedan bowed out at year's end, making way for the 2008 SX4 Sport sedan. Throughout its run, the Aerio was distinct for being the most affordable car in America to offer all-wheel-drive.
In Europe, where the car is called Liana (an acronym for "Life In A New Age"), it's seen as a more affordable alternative to small family cars or to mini MPVs, introducing a new generation of Suzuki M engines, with 1.3L and 1.6L I4 engine. All wheel drive is available on the bigger engine. In 2004 the car was restyled with a look that closer resembled the Japanese version, and also received a Diesel engine, with a 16-valve version of the 1.4L HDi engine supplied by PSA Peugeot Citroën, capable of 90PS (66kW; 89hp) thanks to common rail direct injection and a variable geometry turbocharger.
The Liana is best known for its appearances in the BBC's Top Gear's Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car segment, as the sedan model was used from its first show until the model's replacement by a Chevrolet Lacetti in the show's spring 2006 season. (Source from Wikipedia)
With Suzuki Swift fleet in Malaysia, the Suzuki M series engine can be seen in difference range like M13A, M15A and M16A, what is missing in the local market is the M18A engine which is from the imported Suzuki Aerio.
As it is in the M series family engine, most of the engine gasket parts are common use with the M16A engine, the only item is the cylinder head gasket of M18A, as the part number is difference from M16A.

Bus Air Conditioner Engine
When talking about air conditioner parts, normally we think about compressor parts as small air conditioner normally is driven by direct electrical power.
For a much bigger vehicle like bus, the air conditioner have another engine to provide the power source for their compressor, and the engine design is almost same of those car engine, when you talk about this engine, gasket become one of their important parts.
One of the this engine gasket I meet before is the Shibaura N844 type, I'm not sure if this engine is among the popular air conditioner engine uses in Malaysia busses, but it have some relation to the Denso which provide wide range of bus air conditioner to Malaysia market, this engine should be one of the reliable engine.
Vehicle Dependability Ratings by Brand
J.D. Power and Associates Reports:
While Vehicle Dependability Continues to Improve, New Technologies and Features Pose Challenges for Automakers
Toyota Motor Corporation Models Receive Seven Awards, While Models from Ford Motor Company Receive Four Awards
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.: 17 March 2011 — Overall vehicle dependability has improved from 2010, with automakers succeeding in reducing problem rates in many traditional areas, but experiencing some challenges in overcoming problems with newer technologies and features, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 U.S. Vehicle Dependability StudySM (VDS) released today.
The study, which measures problems experienced during the past 12 months by original owners of three-year-old (2008 model year) vehicles, includes 202 different problem symptoms across all areas of the vehicle. Overall dependability is determined by the level of problems experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100), with a lower score reflecting higher quality.
The Vehicle Dependability Study is used extensively by vehicle manufacturers worldwide to help design and build better vehicles—which typically translates to higher resale values and higher customer loyalty. It also helps consumers make more-informed choices for both new- and used-vehicle purchases. Among new-vehicle shoppers, perception of quality and dependability is the most influential factor in their decision to purchase a specific vehicle model, according to J.D. Power and Associates.
In 2011, overall vehicle dependability averages 151 PP100—the lowest problem rate since the inception of the study in 1990—and improves from 170 PP 100 in 2009. Between 2009 and 2011, annual improvement for the industry has averaged 6 percent, which is slightly lower than historical rates of improvement. During the past decade, industry improvement has averaged 8 percent each year.
The slowdown in improvement is largely attributable to increased rates of problems with electronic features in vehicles, including audio, entertainment and navigation systems and new safety features, such as tire pressure monitoring systems.
“Automakers, as a whole, have made significant improvements in reducing traditional problems, particularly with vehicle interiors; engines and transmissions; and steering and braking during the past several years,” said David Sargent, vice president of global vehicle research at J.D. Power and Associates. “However, as manufacturers add new features and technologies to satisfy customer demand and new legislation, they face the potential for introducing new problems.”
According to Sargent, as newer technologies become more widespread, enhancing the dependability of these features has become an important point of differentiation among automakers.
Highest-Ranked Nameplates and Models
For the first time since the inception of the study, Lincoln leads the overall nameplate rankings in 2011. Lincoln improves by 13 PP100 from 2010. Lexus follows Lincoln in the nameplate rankings. Rounding out the top five nameplates are Jaguar, Porsche and Toyota. The Porsche 911 has the fewest problems in the industry, with just 68 PP100.
Toyota Motor Corporation continues to perform well in long-term dependability and garners seven segment awards—more than any other automaker in 2011—for the Lexus RX, Scion xB, Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Prius, Toyota Sienna, Toyota Tacoma and Toyota Tundra. Ford Motor Company receives four model awards for the Ford Fusion, Ford Mustang, Lincoln MKZ and Lincoln Navigator. General Motors (Buick Lucerne, Cadillac DTS, and Chevrolet Tahoe) and Honda Motor Company (Acura RL, Honda CR-V and Honda Fit) each receive three awards. In addition, the following models also receive awards: BMW X3, Mazda MX-5 Miata, and Mercedes-Benz CLK.
The study finds that while domestic brands have closed the gap in initial quality with import brands, there is still a considerable difference between the two in vehicle dependability, with import brands outperforming domestic brands by 18 PP100 in 2011. This is consistent with findings of the 2008 Initial Quality Study,SM which examined the models included in the 2011 VDS after 90 days of ownership. While domestic brand cars have fewer problems (135 PP100, on average) than import brand cars (147 PP100, on average), trucks and crossover vehicles1 of import brands have considerably fewer problems than those of domestic brands.
In addition to affecting brand image and brand loyalty, long-term dependability also has a notable effect on dealership service and customer service spending. As the number of problems experienced increases, owners are increasingly likely to use non-dealer service facilities for paid service work. In addition, as the number of problems increases, the percentage of owners who say they “definitely will” return to their dealer for service diminishes. Among owners who indicate they have experienced no problems, 76 percent indicate they “definitely will” return to the dealer for paid service. This proportion decreases to 42 percent among owners who say they experienced six or more problems.
The 2011 Vehicle Dependability Study is based on responses from more than 43,700 original owners of 2008 model-year vehicles after three years of ownership. The study was fielded between October and December 2010.

PISTON
When you are dealing with engine gasket, it is unavoidable that some customer may ask if you have the Piston or Piston Ring, as this parts are also consider important engine parts that when overhauling engine is carry out.
As usual, the normal size of Piston or Piston Ring is not so difficult to source, but the over-size Piston or Piston Ring may hard to get it, so it is quite useless when we have the stock of such gasket but customer can't do anything due to Piston and Piston Ring is unavailable.
Normally Piston and Piston Ring are sell separately, but for the modify type of Piston, it is better the goods can be supply together with Piston Ring as a set, to avoid troublesome on looking for this rare size of each item.

Tata Telcoline Truck Engine Gasket
Another gasket source for customer request, the Tata light truck which produce in India, when have a closer look, it seem the engine come from the same design of Peugeot 207 series of diesel engine, but it have its gasket produce in India so don't worry of need to buy a more expensive German or France made gasket, though the quality are not the same.
Tata Mobile 207 was introduced in 1988 and is currently producing.
The second generation Tata 207 DI was launched in 2002.It is a Pick Up vehicle designed for both urban and rural use. The TATA 207 DI is powered with the same engine as in TATA 407 and is India's first 1.13 Ton payload Pick Up with Power Steering. Its 60 HP - 3-litre(2956cc)[58 BHP @ 3200 RPM 16.55 kgm @ 1500 RPM] engine minimizes fuel consumption and maximizes driving pleasure and refinement.
In 2005, Tata TL 4x4 was released in Indian market. It was Tata's first (and India's second) offering in the lifestyle pick-up truck segment. It was a spruced up version of Tata's hugely successful Tata 207 DI pick-up which was popular with commercial transport operators. It even sold in Britain as a working vehicle.
It featured a turbo charged 1948 cc diesel engine that produces 91 bhp (68 kW). In addition there were extra accessories such as a bull-bar, roll-over bar, power steering & air conditioning, power windows. The Pick-Up was available in both - single cab & double cab versions. The Tata TL 4x4 is a heavy duty pickup truck, probably one of the most heavy duty and reliable in its category. In some countries people tended to fit a 2.0l Toyota turbodiesel engine for more power. Value for money the Tata Telcoline was probably one of the best pick-ups as it was much cheaper compared to other vehicles in its class such as the Toyota Hilux and the Ford Ranger.

Toyota 1G Engine
I didn't carry many stock on Toyota 1G engine gasket, as I think it should be consider quite an old model engine, but it seem customer looking for this stuff never stop, and once I'm quite suprise to learn that actually Toyota 1G-GTE only stop production in the year 2005 in the Wikipedia article.
The 1G series can be consider such as 1G-EU, 1G-FE, 1G-GEU, 1G-GE. 1G-GZEU and 1G-GTE, but in our local market, people may just conclude them as 1G 12 valves engine or 1G 24 valves engine.

Mitsubishi Colt 4G15 Brake Master Pump
Sometime it is don't know buying a car that is less circular on the road in one market is a good thing or not, the car price may be not to high or it may just about similar with the price on the popular same range model, but the problem is the parts.
Mitsubishi Colt 4G15 Z27A model may be is popular in other country but it consider less circular in Malaysia, the price for the car may just slightly above average on their same class, but when the owner wish to replace the brake master pump, it is quite diffcult for them to find the parts instantly.
The Mitsubishi parts dealer in Malaysia didn't carry this item in their stock, so it have to ship from Japan directly, guess what is the price on this tiny brake master pump, it cost more than one thousand Ringgit.
This is just one of the parts that we happen to try to source for our customer, how about price for other parts? So sometime need to consider the maintenance cost for a car before consider their selling price.
