Nissan Primera SR20VET


The 2.0 L SR20VE has Nissan's Neo VVL variable valve timing with lift control. It produces 190 PS (139 kW) @7000 rpm and 144 ft·lbf (196 Nm) @6000 rpm and later (2001-2003) 205 PS (150 kW) @7200 rpm and 206 nm @5200 rpm. Used in:

1997-2000 P11 JDM Nissan Primera Te-V sedan or G-V wagon, 190 PS (139 kW)
2001-2003 P12 JDM Nissan Primera, 20V sedan or W20V Wagon, 205 PS (150 kW)
1997-2000 U14 JDM Nissan Bluebird SSS-Z sedan, 190 PS (139 kW)
1997-2000 Y11 JDM Nissan Wingroad ZV-S wagon, 190 PS (139 kW)

The 2.0 L (1998 cc) SR20VET was the first turbocharged engine from Nissan with variable timing and lift control. It produces 280 PS (206 kW) @ 6400 rpm and 309 nm @ 3200 rpm.

It is used in the following vehicles:

2002-2007 Nissan X-Trail GT

The original material of the cylinder head gasket for SR20VE and SR20VET is metal, unlike those in SR20DT and SR20SET which their original material is graphite, and owner need to get the modified type of metal gasket if they want to use it.

Anyway, this metal cylinder head gasket for SR20VE is not usable on SR20DET type as SR20VE type have less one hole which it is at the most left bottom side if you refer to the above picture, but it got one more extra hole when compre to SR20DET which as shown on the arrow of the above photo.
