Isuzu D-Max V Cross 4JJ1 Head Gasket

When come to the Isuzu D-Max 3.0 with 4JJ1 engine cylinder head gasket, initially thought it will be straight forward with the head gasket like the left side of the above photo, until when a customer take out the head gasket from Isuzu D-Max V Cross also with the 4JJ1 engine code, it appear the head gasket had 2 holes extra as like show in the orange circle at the gasket in above photo.

Wonder other gasket parts for the overhaul set gasket kit in both engine is interchangeable or not.
 

Nissan GTR R35 Exhaust Manifold Gasket

 

Still unable to get the complete gasket kit for Nissan GTR R35 VR38DETT engine, after having the cylinder head gasket and rocker cover gasket in stock, newly joint in the list is the exhaust manifold gasket, when we ordering the exhaust manifold gasket, we also try to get the intake manifold gasket, but it is unavailable to order at that time, hopefully we can get the intake manifold gasket in coming next order. 

Suzuki R06A Cylinder Head Gasket

I'm still not sure if the Suzuki Alto with R06A engine is available in Malaysia market, but the R06A engine caught my eye when I found that quite a lot of Suzuki K-Car list is currently using this engine, even it can be found in some Nissan model.

So when I try to look for the gasket info, and found that there are at least 2 types of cylinder head gasket for this R06A engine (May be there are more as that is the info I get on the time of writing), so it make me caught in a position that which piece should I order in stock.

The above photo with OEM Part Number 11141-50MA1 is found on Suzuki Alto HA36S while the photo below with OEM Part Number 11141-50M02 is found in Suzuki MR Wagon MF33S, this engine may already use at Maruti Suzuki India for their Maruti Alto model, at the moment should put on hold of ordering this gasket until I can confirm which type is exist in Malaysia market.

 

Subaru Turbocharger Gasket

When some customer looking for a piece of Subaru turbocharger gasket, they might think it is one type of those gasket only, and due to they might throw the old gasket that is badly damage, which some may already tear a part with few pieces, they unable to provide a photo of gasket sample for us to refer, so is best we keep a photo on some of the popular Subaru turbocharger photo in a post here, whenever a customer need the gasket they can always download this photo a make a pointer on the photo to inquire us if that piece of gasket is available.
 

Subaru EJ205 Rocker Cover Gasket

Today a customer bring the Subaru Impreza EJ205 rocker cover to look for its gasket, plug seal and the cover bush, thinking that we already stock most of the Subaru EJ series rocker cover gasket, I confidently take out all the items he needed for him.

With one side of the rocker cover gasket is correct, and there are no problem for the 4 pieces plug seal and 16 pieces cover bush, the remaining side of the rocker cover gasket caught me by surprise.

With the other side rocker cover gasket is correct, our record for the other side should be 13270-AA151, but when you check with the above rocker cover photo, you will found that 13270-AA151 have 2 extra guide pop up from the gasket as shown in the below photo with the pink circle.

And the correct parts should be 13270-AA171 shown in below photo, as due to 13270-AA171 is never seen at the catalogue I have, I not aware for its exitance and didn't stock it up, my customer have to look for Subaru dealer for the genuine parts for this piece.

  

 

Subaru WRX STi EJ257 Full Set Gasket Kit

Having some full set gasket kit of Subaru Impreza EJ204 in stock, when a customer asking for the Subaru WRX STI EJ257 full set gasket kit, I try to figure out what should be replace in the EJ204 gasket set content, in the first photo, the 2 pieces of cylinder head gasket need to be change, the 2 pieces of main intake manifold gasket and the waterpump gasket is same, and there are 2 pieces extra surge manifold gasket to put in, plus a piece of different type of throttle body gasket.

 

The exhaust manifold gasket, exhaust pipe gasket, timing cover gasket is basically same for both EJ204 and EJ257.

In the above photo, the rocker cover gasket need to be change, and you may take out the 16 pieces of rocker cover bush and 4 pieces of half moon seal from EJ204 as the EJ257 type of design didn't use those item, other o-ring items is basically same for both model, but the 4 pieces of gasket in the bottom right of the above photo is not in EJ204, until here, I just lack of this 4 pieces of gasket.

Photo in bottom showing the flywheel oil seal which is same size for both engine, of course it just need one piece for an engine, below photo is just for illustrated purpose.

 

Daihatsu KF-DE and KF-DET Rocker Cover Gasket

In the recent issue of Japanese Motor Vehicles Guidebook, under the Daihatsu section, we can see quite a lot of the model is using their new KF 3 cylinder engine, but it is unknown if in Malaysia there are local model with the engine as Malaysia Perodua is currently using the 1KR-DE option for their 3 cylinder engine selection.

First noticing the KF series of engine when found out new Daihatsu Copen is using the KF-DET engine few years ago, and we did try to stock up some rocker cover gasket and cylinder head gasket as Malaysia K-Car fans may modified this engine in local Perodua model.

Above is the look of the rocker cover for the KF-DET model, interesting info coming when customer is looking for the KF-DE rocker cover gasket, and only notice KF-DET and KF-DE is not sharing the same rocker cover parts, even the head gasket have slight different between this 2 engine. According to our customer, it is on a Daihatsu Hijet model.

Part number of KF-DET rocker cover gasket is 11213-B2051 which supersede the old part number of 11213-B2050.
