Subaru Legacy 2.0 Engine Gasket

Under the Subaru Legacy 2.0 BE and BH model, using the EJ204, EJ206 and EJ208 engine.

For the EJ205 engine from the year 2002 onward, there are Subaru Impreza and Forester model using the similar gasket with some minor changes on the timing cover and oil seal side, but for EJ205 engine from the year 2007 onward, which can be found in Subaru Exiga and Forester, the rocker cover gasket design also change from the previous model.

Local Kancil L5 have 2 types of modification, one is only change the Daihatsu JB-JL engine into their Kancil, another one is a half cut modification with the gear box or may be consider as front parts of this Mira is transfer on to the Kancil.

So for those half cut transfer, not only the engine parts sourcing have the problem, sometime items like the Drive Shaft assembly, which is different from Kancil, also difficult to find.

As the drive shaft is different, their oil seal also will be have the different size from Kancil, their outer diameter is same with the Kancil type of 68mm, but their inner diameter is bigger than the Kancil oil seal.

Mitsubishi EVO X Cylinder Head Gasket

Although it is under Mitsubishi Engine Code 4B11, the design for Mitsubishi EVO X cylinder head gasket is slightly difference from those normal Lancer or Outlander with the same engine code.

May be is due to the add on turbo, the thickness of this cylinder head gasket is also thicker than those without turbo. Other than the EVO X, the Galant Fortis Turbo is also using the same cylinder head gasket.

Suzuki Grand Vitara Valve Cover Gasket Kit

The new Suzuki Grand Vitara engine, regardless it is a V6 engine under H20A, H25A and H27A engine code, or the 4 cylinder inline engine under J18A and J20A engine code, there are some seal at the rocker cover side are commonly use.

Those 3 items are basically their Semicircular Plug Gasket (Half Moon Seal), Spark Plug Tube Gasket (Plug Seal) and Washer Seal Gasket (Valve Cover Seal).

Infiniti Q50 - Coming Soon in Malaysia

Come across an Infiniti Q50 model showing at the Publika Solaris Dutamas, which having a sign board showing potential owner can register their interest in www.Q50.com.my which also lead to my curious on checking what's up on this Infiniti Q50 model.
