Perodua Bezza Oil Pan Oil Pump O-Ring

There are few special O-ring can be found in the Perodua Bezza oil pan and oil pump area, above are the diagram for the bottom area for the 1NR-FE engine, the 3 marked number, which is with part number 90301-T0055, 90301-T0057 and 90301-T0059 respectively, the O-ring is shown as in below photo which you can see that it is not just a normal round O-ring but with some extra dot rubber either pointer outward or inward on the O-ring.

The top left seal in the below photo is under part number 11159-0Y020 which is call camshaft bearing oil hole seal at the head gasket area of this 1NR-FE engine.

 

Subaru Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Subaru exhaust manifold gasket under part number 14038-AA000 is the most commonly use in almost all Subaru model, ranging from all the EJ series model, until the current FA and FB series model, all the boxer type of engine is using the same exhaust manifold gasket, the different may be the earlier model in EJ series is using the asbestos type of material, and it already improve to use the metal type material from 2002 onwards. 
 

2 Types of Toyota Innova Rocker Cover Gasket

Toyota Innova with 1TR-FE engine and the Fortuner with the 2TR-FE engine have 2 types of rocker cover gasket, the above photo is for the model before 2015 which the rocker cover gasket and the plug seal is separate between them and for the model after 2015, which is like the photo below, the design is change to the plug seal is connected together with the rocker cover gasket.

 

 

Toyota Vios NZE16# Rocker Cover Gasket

This Toyota Vios rocker cover gasket which is also under 1NZ-FE engine seems a bit different from the very first batch of Vios model, with part number 11213-21020, the area which connect the rocker cover outer part with the centre plug seal part have a C or U shape rubber connect to it, unlike the 11213-21011 the connection is just a straight forward connection to the plug seal.

As both engine code is under 1NZ-FE, to better differentiate the 2 type of rocker cover gasket, may be the older one is use on Vios NCP# series and the newer version is for Vios NZE# series.

 

Nissan Cefiro PA33 Intake Adaptor Gasket

Nissan Cefiro PA33 with VQ25DD engine is not a common engine found in Malaysia market, the intake adaptor gasket for this engine is using a bit of different material design compare to other VQ series engine intake adaptor gasket.

Due to the material is not the simple o-ring type design or with thin metal sheet gasket of design, the pricing for this piece of gasket is much higher compare to others.

Isuzu D-Max 1.9 Cylinder Head Gasket

Today got a chance to touched the physical stock of this Isuzu D-Max 1.9 Cylinder Head Gasket, with the engine code RZ4E-TC, it also known as Blue Power engine, which there have 2 fun facts according to the Drive Save and Fast website.

1. The name of this new engine, RZ4E, represents a change in Isuzu’s engine naming convention. Previous Isuzu engines would often use a digit to indicate number of cylinders, followed by an alphabet or two to indicate engine family. The 4 seems to be relocated behind the engine family designation..
2. ‘Blue’ is commonly used in marketing spiel to describe modern, efficient diesel engines. Beyond Isuzu, at least two other brands use ‘Blue’ in the names of their diesel tech. The Mr. Tateyama confirms the colour has nothing to do with anything. I suppose Green was too busy being associated with electric and petrol powertrains.

Toyota Celica 2ZZ-GE Timing Cover Gasket

Toyota Celica with engine 2ZZ-GE, their timing cover is design as such having 2 pieces of rubber gasket, which is under OEM part number 11328-88600 and 11329-88600, other than this 2 pieces gasket need to be replace when found there are oil leaking at the timing cover side, a piece of timing oil seal is best to be replace as well.

In Malaysia, other than the Toyota Celica model that using this 2ZZ-GE engine, there are also one Lotus sports car model is using this engine.
