Most of us known that the new Proton Perdana launch recently is something about the 9th generation of Honda Accord, or a previous version from the latest version of Honda Accord, so what will you be getting for their engine?
The 2016 Proton Perdana is come with 2 variant of engine with 2.0 and 2.4, which the 2.0 version using the R20A engine and the 2.4 using the K24Z3 engine, the gasket for the 2.4 most probably are the one show in the photo, of course this car won't need to change the gasket for at least 5 years if the owner is taking care of the engine correctly, but once they need it, will it be good to buy a Honda parts or Proton parts?
In the previous Proton model which have the relation with Mitsubishi, Proton just change the Mitsubishi part number by changing the front 2 alphabet from MD to PW, for example, changing Mitsubishi part number of MD997671 to PW997671, and they using the PW until the Campro version of model. I'm quite curious how Proton will change the Honda part number like 12251-R40-A01 to what Proton part number.
