Westar Maxus V80 Overhaul Gasket Kit

When I first seen the Westar Maxus V80 van in a Motor Show few years ago, it attract me with it's grand design, and from there on I would like to know what engine is this van using, which for sure it is not under the Japanese model engine, and KP didn't produce continental model engine gasket as we known, so I get a set of overhaul gasket kit to see what is the design of the gasket looks like.

The content of the number of gasket and seal in this overhaul gasket kit is quite a lot, which you may not seen each item clearly on its kit packing, so I tear the packing and take photo for each items, sure the first item to start of is the cylinder head gasket as above photo.

The rocker cover gasket as shown above, is not the rubber type of gasket we normally seen, we have this in the material of packing paper type inside the set.

Above photo there are manifold gasket in it, which the intake and exhaust is come together in one piece, turbocharger gasket, 2 pieces of seal cap, valve stem seal, and the oil pan gasket which is made in metal material with rubber seal at the edge.

The flywheel oil seal also not like those conventional type of oil seal.

It is actually from an engine use on one of the Cherokee Jeep model.

Mitsubishi Pajero V55W Rocker Cover Gasket

Mitsubishi Pajero V55W is the year 1997 model of Pajero with 6G74 engine on it, in Mitsubishi 6G7series of engine, ranging from 6G71, 6G72, 6G73, 6G74 and 6G75, their rocker cover gasket design is at least compatible for 2 model, for example, Pajero E17A, S11A, S12A, L141, L146G, S22A and 1992 V23W is using the same rocker cover gasket.

For Pajero Z16A, F36A, F46A, F47A, V45W is using same rocker cover gasket, Pajero N86W, V65W, V75W is using same rocker cover gasket and Pajero DK4A, DJ5A, V87W and V97W is using the same rocker cover gasket.

But we found out that for Pajero V55W, their rocker cover gasket is only mean to V55W model which I could not find it in other Pajero model, what is so special on this rocker cover design that the Mitsubishi only develop it for the only unique Pajero V55W model?
