YRV K3-VET Cylinder Head Gasket with 1.2mm Thickness
Although it is a bolt on turbo engine, the original thickness of the cylinder head gasket for Daihatsu YRV K3-VET turbo engine is same with those without turbo which is roughly about 0.2mm, and I think this specification is well good enough for their turbo performance.
But still a lot of more fanatic racer, try to boost the turbo to a more higher pressure limit, until the original cylinder head gasket also can't coup with this condition, as such, the demand for a thicker cylinder head gasket emerge, which with the initial common thickness requirement is 1.2mm.

is this single layer or MLS? you showed earlier original Toyota/Daihatsu head gasket is single layer only.
The gasket I'm showing in this post is MLS with 1.2mm thickness. I have an earlier post which show the single layer which is for original use on Toyota or Daihatsu.
This MLS is mainly for those turbo bolt on like those in YRV Turbo.
Thank you for your reply Mr.Goh. I cross-checked the part numbers for Toyota & Daihatsu and it seems they are using the exact same single layer head gasket for the Daihatsu YRV Turbo as well. No wonder so common for YRV turbo engines to have blown head gasket.
Do you have MLS head gasket in stock thickness? 0.3mm if I am not mistaken.
Yes, we do have stock for the 0.3mm thickness (Actually it is still slightly thinner than 0.3mm), it is metal gasket but you can't call it as MLS (Multi Layer Steel) as for this 0.3mm is just a Single Layer metal.
Hi!what will be the compression ratio with this head gasket?
Dear Gianluca,
We are not sure on the compression ratio, the local owner in Malaysia may modified a higher pressure turbo charge, that's why they wish to use a thicker head gasket.
Hi My name is roshan and I am from sri lanka.

Hi Roshan, you may sent your inquiry to email kaycgoh@gmail.com or whatsapp/wechat/line to 6012-2043717 for further info.
