FREELANDER 1.8 16V K SERIES HEAD SET GASKET

Rover group model engine gasket always been a weakness for us that mostly concentrate on Japanese engine gasket, to have a start, just browse some info on the Rover K series of engine, which their engine code can be range from 14K16, 16K16 and 18K16.

This petrol engine mostly found as Freelander 1.8 in Malaysia, but it is also applicable for Rover 75 Tourer as well as MGF, the design of the rocker cover gasket is something like what we see in Kia Carnival or Naza Ria engine, of course, we should say that Kia Carnival and Naza Ria is actually using one of the Rover KV6 engine.

Subaru Impreza EJ257 Full Set Fasket

This photo which I found it in eBay and in one of the Subaru forum site, is the full set gasket kit for Subaru Impreza GRF and GVF found in EJ257 engine, as usual, some of their content may interchangeable for EJ255 engine which also suit for some Forester and Legacy.

This photo show the gasket for Subaru engine Turbo housing, recently I heard a Kancil L5 owner is modified the Daihatsu JB-JL engine Turbo to the Subaru type of Turbo, and looking for their gasket.

Ssangyong Rexton D20DT and D27DT Gasket Set

Ssangyong Rexton 2.7 seem can be seen anyway on the road in Malaysia, this model should not be classified as unpopular, but that may be difference case for Ssangyong Rexton 2.0, or may be it is a Stavic 2.0, this D20DT engine is in the same family of those 2.7 engine of D27DT, with the difference that D20DT is a 4 cylinder engine and D27DT is a 5 cylinder engine.

Proton Saga BLM, EXORA, PREVE Gasket Set

Since after Proton start with its GEN2 model, the era of using Mitsubishi can be consider come to an end with all the after GEN2 model, like Pesona, Exora, Saga BLM, Saga FLX and Preve also using the CAMPRO base engine, except for Inspira that have some special arrangement for the Mitsubishi Lancer engine.

If looking into the first CAMPRO engine from GEN2, after years of improving, with all kind of CPS or other new thing that putting into it, it seem the gasket have not much difference among those model, except for the changes of rocker cover gasket and intake manifold gasket design.

And the most weird case I found out is, the Proton Saga BLM Gasket Set and Proton Exora or Preve Gasket Set may have difference part number with difference pricing, but my bad eye sight may just found that their content is actually the same.
