Nissan QG16DE Cylinder Head Gasket

Nissan QG16DE engine, which is use on the Nissan N16 1,596cc model in Malaysia market.

Recently we found the cylinder head gasket have 2 type of design, basically all the patern and hole are same for both design except the place which we pointed it as on the photo, at this moment, it is just old and new design on this diffrence shape of hole and it can be ignore and this 2 types of cylinder head gasket can be interchangeable of use.

4G93 DOHC ROCKER COVER

Mitsubishi 4G9series engine basically have the same design on the cylinder head, but for the rocker cover in intake manifold, they keep on have changes from 4G91, 4G92, 4G93 and 4G94.

For the 4G93 DOHC rocker cover, normally their designed with 3 goving, 2 groving at one side and another 1 groving at another side.

Recently we came across the rocker cover gasket with 4 groving (as on attached photo), this 4 groving design is quite rare for Mitsubishi Inline 4 cylinder engine, except for the 6A1series of DOHC V6 engine or 6G7series of DOHC V6 engine, it is hardly to find anothe 4 groving rocker cover designed from Mitsubishi engine.

EVO VR4 Cylinder Head Gasket

Since the introduction of the Mitsubishi 4G63 engine that install on VR4 or EVO, their cylinder head gasket had since evolve from graphite type to metal type. And at the stage of metal type gasket, it had change from the thickness from 0.4mm to 1.5mm due to the turbo charge modification.

As their original piston bore design at 85mm, their cylinder head gasket is design at a normal diameter of 86mm, but still there are more modification come up. With the piston bore modified to 86mm, the original size of cylinder head gasket is no more suitable for this usage purpose, hence, the requirement for the 86.5mm and 87mm diamenter on the cylinder head gasket had come out.

Toyota Prado Petrol Engine

Local Toyota Landcruiser Prado petrol engine is usung 3RZ type of engine, which it use for Toyota Tacoma 4 Runner in Japan.

This KP brand of head set gasket had the most complete content as you can see on the photo, if you happen to see other gasket brand on this model, you will notice there are a lot of item is not included.

Mazda V6 MPV

Mazda have quite a range of V6 engine on their range, with engine type like JE, JF, J5, KF, KJ, KL and K8, in my personal view, the most complicated designed if we just looking at their engine gasket, will be the type of GY engine, which install in the model of LW5W MPV.

Nissan SR20DET Cylinder Head Gasket

Normally car owner with SR20 series of engine, which modified with Turbo charger, will have the problem to get their metal type of cylinder gasket which may be have 2 to 3 design with SR20DT type or SR20DET type.

Now the gasket manufacturer had made a special design on this metal cylinder head gasket which it can be use in both SR20DT and SR20DET, which will made customer easier when buying this gasket.

Isuzu Cylinder Head Gasket Shim

Isuzu 4HF1 range of engine (of course including their newer generation such as 4HG1, 4HK1 etc...) cylinder head gasket have a type of special shim, which is a thin metal design in the actual size of the cylinder head gasket, which their function is to made the gasketing thicker when it combine with the cylinder head gasket.
