Subaru FB20 Exhaust Pipe Gasket

In the Subaru F series (FA20 & FB20) engine, their exhaust manifold gasket is actually design same size as the EJ series (EJ20 & EJ25) engine, but in the exhaust pipe side, the gasket as shown in the photo for the F series, is slightly bigger compare to the EJ series type.

But when we looking at the FA20 (Subaru BRZ) gasket kit, this gasket didn't seems under the content of the gasket kit, but it can be found in the FB 20 for the Subaru WRX model gasket kit. Even the FB20 for the Subaru XV model don't have this piece in their gasket kit content.

 

Honda CRV 1.5 Turbocharger Gasket

 

We seldom come across with Honda turbocharger stuff previously, only when Honda Malaysia introduce the Honda CRV 1.5 Turbo few years ago, I'm starting to find out how will the turbocharger gasket looks like.

This CRV 1.5 turbocharger is also use in the Honda Civic 1.5 Turbo FC1/FK7 model, the turbocharger is looks like the above photo with the gasket in the photo is the items #18 and #19 in the below diagram, currently we have the #18 in stock which is show in the last photo which we believe it should be the main gasket to replace whenever the turbocharger is dismantle at that area.

Nissan 350Z Upper Plenum Gasket

 

Nissan Fairlady 350Z have a very unique design above the engine which it have a plenum design, the upper plenum gasket have total 18 screw holes, so how would you like to tighten the bolt in the correct sequence? 

An I found this tighten sequence from Z1Motorsports website which it may useful for those who try to install the new plenum gasket on their 350Z engine.

Nissan Navara NP300 Rocker Cover Gasket

Nissan Navara NP300 is using the Nissan YD25DDTi engine, which it seems same code as the previous Nissan Frontier model, but overall there are some modification improvement of the engine which made quite many gasket in the new model can not be interchange with the old model type of gasket.

Of course the first common gasket we noted the difference is the rocker cover gasket, as it is tend to be the first gasket part need to be change in the engine for most vehicle, as apart from the Nissan Navara NP300, the new Nissan Urvan NV350 is also using the same engine, may be it is time to study the whole gasket kit after we already made the rocker cover gasket available in invventories.

 

 

Nissan Juke 1.6 Gasket Kit

 

Nissan Juke 1.6 which is using the HR16DDT engine, have some interesting design made on the gasket, most may thought that HR16DDT should be in some kind of relation with the HR16DE engine, that's not wrong, with the cylinder head gasket is basically get a modification from the HR16DE type of cylinder head gasket.

But the rocker cover gasket, it is surprisingly using the MR18DE/MR20DE type of gasket, and the intake manifold gasket is also a bit modification from Nissan Serena C26 which is MR20 engine. The exhaust manifold gasket is with the heat insulation design, which is different from the flat exhaust manifold gasket design from HR16DE or MR18DE engine.

Ford Mustang 2.3 Full Set Gasket Kit

In the earlier post we show what is the design of the Ford Mustang 2.3 Rocker Cover Gasket, this post we share a photo of Ford Mustang 2.3 Full Set Gasket Kit.

The rocker cover gasket is pack in a plastic bag in the bottom left of the photo, so you may refer to the earlier post on the photo of rocker cover gasket.

As you can see, the cylinder head gasket also have the design looks alike those in Mazda LF, L3 and L5 engine and also those in the Ford Focus III, but still this gasket is design specific for the Mustang model which the gasket from other model can't interchange to this engine.

The gasket in the centre of the photo is the exhaust manifold gasket which also have different design from the conventional exhaust manifold gasket which normally have 4 exhaust holes for this 4 cylinder engine.

The flywheel oil seal looks like same with those Mazda LF, L3 and L5 model but it is still not sure for me now as I don't have this physical parts to compare it with the Mazda model. 
 

Ford Mustang 2.3 Rocker Cover Gasket

This Ford Mustang 2.3 Rocker Cover Gasket looks very much like those Ford Escape 2.3 or Mazda 6 with L5 engine type of gasket, the differences from this piece of rocker cover gasket is that it have 2 curve at one side of this gasket but the other version is flat all the way.

The centre par is same have 3 pieces of gasket which 2 pieces is a bit square and 1 piece is a bit rectangular in shape, but it have extra 2 piece of oil seal like gasket which the other version don't have it in the rocker cover design.
