Daihatsu YRV Tubo and Gran Max model, which using the K3-VET and 3SZ-VE engine, is the engine very similar to the previous version of Perodua MVYI and Toyota Avanza which using the K3-VE and 2SZ-FE engine.
Interesting to find out that the exhaust manifold gasket for the YRV or Gran Max type have extra 2 holes compare to the MYVI and Avanza version, it seems like the lesser holes version can be use on all model, is the extra 2 screw holes serve any purpose? Is it because of the turbo version of YRV need extra tightening on the exhaust manifold side to prevent leaking?
