When I first known about a V8 engine from Toyota, it is under UZ series (1UZ-FE, 2UZ-FE and 3UZ-FE) of petrol engine, and when someone is asking about the Toyota 4.5 V8 diesel engine, it is a wow for me, this Toyota Landcruiser LC70 or LC200 is really exist in Malaysia market.
Some call it as Landcruiser VDJ76, VDJ78, VDJ79 or VDJ200 model, is using the 1VD-FTV of V8 diesel engine, in the source of Wikipedia, this engine suppose to be found in Australia, India, Southern Africa, Central and South America.
The overhaul set gasket for this Toyota 1VD-FTV engine, is just like those Toyota Diesel engine overhaul set gasket kit, which their kit is not include the cylinder head gasket.
And their cylinder head gasket which also have different thickness which can be found in the last 2 alphabet at their parts label.
