Perodua Bezza 1.0 Intake Manifold Gasket

Perodua Bezza 1.0 is using the Toyota 1KR-VE engine, unlike the Perodua Axia 1.0, which is using the 1KR-DE2 engine, although some of their engine is similar between this 2 engine, the intake manifold for the 1KR-VE is design as such need to use 2 pieces of gasket, one layer is the rubber o-ring type and another one is the thin metal sheet type of gasket.

Toyota Camry 2.5 Hybrid model in Malaysia is using the 2AR-FE engine, you may found the intake manifold gasket which is with viton rubber o-ring type, have some special design difference from the conventional intake o-ring, each port of the intake hole, they had design with 3 small rectangular shape inside each big hole, so what is the purpose on this design? Is this design have anything to do due to the hybrid function that this engine need to deal with?
