Some of the old Ford model engine like in those Ranger, Lynx, Telstar, Laser, Maxi and etc, had share some of the engine in the Mazda model like those in Fighter, Lantis, Astina, 323, 626 and etc. It is why some of the people may still think that Ford Escape engine gasket can be found in one of the Mazda engine model.
Browsing through the Ford Escape specification, it seem the current new model in Malaysia is using 2.3L In-line 4-cylinder DOHC, 16V Variable Valve Timing (VVT) engine, but recently most of the Ford Escape owner who looking for the rocker cover gasket is using those 2.0L Zetec-E YF engine.
And don't think it be can be find in any of the Mazda range of engine.

Why I'm putting the word "Another" in this title? Actually in my catalog, I can found 6 to 7 difference type of rocker cover gasket for the Subaru EJ20 series engine from various generation model, and the photo that you are currently view at is only my 3rd type of Subaru EJ20 rocker cover gasket.
So this is for which model? As stated on catalog, it use on 1996~ Legacy 2.0 and Impreza 2.0 for the model BD, BG, GC, GF which the engine code is EJ20G.
For the previous rocker cover photo, you may refer to http://kp-gasket.blogspot.com/2011/10/subaru-ej20-rocker-cover-gasket.html
And for the Subaru EJ20 series engine code explanation please refer to http://kp-gasket.blogspot.com/2011/06/subaru-ej20-series-engine.html

Looks like the Daihatsu YRV K3-VET turbo engine is getting popular in Malaysia, just to stress it again, the K3-VET engine actually is quite similar in their design on those K3-VE engine, which is use on Perodua MYVI 1.3, Kembara DVVT 1.3 and in Toyota Avanza 1.3 though it may call it 2SZ-FE in Toyota.
In the engine gasket term, most of the item content in K3-VE gasket set is usable on the K3-VET, there are just less few pieces of gasket on the Turbo housing area like on their exhaust and intake side.
And the above gasket is 2 of the gasket that is missing in K3-VE gasket set which it needed by K3-VET engine.
Exhaust pipe gasket is normally not included in either overhaul set gasket or head set gasket, and the local exhaust pipe gasket maker normally using normal asbestos material for this kind of gasket, for those high performance exhuast system like those in GTR R35, this kind of material we not be consider at all.
And let see what is the few statement from wikipedia that made on the GTR exhaust system,
The revised GT-R (2011 model year, 2012 model year for the US) features an engine with revised mapping, changes to valve timing, larger inlets and a revised exhaust system which boosts rated power to 530 bhp and 612Nm of torque from 3200 to 6000rpm.
The GT-R SpecV is powered by the standard twin-turbo 3,799 cc (3.8 L; 231.8 cu in) V6 with no increase in horsepower. A new high gear boost controller that allows a temporary increase in boost pressure to the IHI twin turbochargers, now larger than those on the standard GT-R, should deliver more torque in mid to high-range revs. Other mechanical changes include a titanium exhaust, reworked suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and 20-inch (510 mm) NISMO wheels. Overall weight is decreased by 132 lb (60 kg) over the standard GT-R.
In August 2008, Nissan's official motorsport and tuning arm Nismo announced the "Club Sport" tuning package for the GT-R . The package, which is also fitted to the SpecV, includes Bilstein Damptronic compatible dampers, 20" forged aluminum wheels from Rays Engineering, Bridgestone run-flat tires, Recaro carbon fiber-shelled bucket seats, a titanium exhaust, and a revised rear diffuser with an added cooling duct. The package is supported by a warranty and saves over 20kg.
